Our youth group meets on Fridays at 8 P.M, where we facilitate a time of openness, dialogue, authenticity, laughter and sharing.
While we want our youth to have good knowledge of the Word, we also want them to take full ownership of their faith using their own actions and thoughts
and be best prepared for this world as a believer.
Our vision for the youth is as follows:
We want to foster a community of young people that are consciously and consistently engaging with God on a personal level, day and night. (Colossians3:1-2; Deuteronomy 4:29; Matthew 6:33; Matthew7:7-8; Hebrews 11:6; Psalm 105:4; Lamentations 3:25)
We want young people to understand that following Jesus is a life of complete surrender of one’s life; heart, mind, soul and strength. Our desire is that they learn to honor God with every aspect of their lives. (Luke 10:27; James 4:7; Romans 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Galatians 2:20; Luke 9:23; Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 16:24-25)
We desire that young people continually pray, seek and grow in understanding of who God is, who God has made them to be, and what their God-given purpose is in life. (Colossians 1:9-14; Ephesians 1:17-19; 2 Peter 3:18; Colossians 4:6; Proverbs 4:7; 1 Corinthians 2:12)
Our desire is that young people will constantly be thinking about how to invest in the lives of those around them with the love, blessings, and understanding that they’ve received. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 12:30-31; Acts 2:42; John 13:35; Proverbs 27:17; 1 Peter 2:9-10; Acts 20:24)
